Privacy Policy

Swatchhh is a Chrome extension that turns a hex color into a color scale. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What Swatchhh collects

Nothing. Swatchhh does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information, browsing history or usage data. It has no account system, no analytics and no advertising, and it makes no network requests.

What is stored on your device

• Recent palettes: the hex colors you generate, saved in your browser's local extension storage so you can reopen them. You can clear them by removing the extension.
• Theme preference: whether you chose the light or dark theme.

This data stays on your device. It is never sent to the developer or anyone else.

Permissions

• storage is used only for the local data above.
• clipboardWrite is used only to copy colors or exports when you click a copy button.

The screen eyedropper, if you use it, reads the color of a single pixel you choose. That color is used in the popup and is not stored or transmitted.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
